About Me
Welcome to Jensen Physical Therapy & Golf Performance. I’m Chris Jensen, a Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist with 14+ years of experience helping active adults move better, stay strong, and continue doing the activities they love. My practice was built around a simple idea: physical therapy should be personal, convenient, and tailored to the individual—not rushed or one-size-fits-all.
With a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Biology from UC Davis and a Master of Physical Therapy from CSU Long Beach, I bring extensive orthopedic experience along with specialized training in golf assessment and performance through the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), where I am Medical 2 Certified and Fitness 2 Certified. Whether your goal is to recover from an injury, maintain an active lifestyle, or move and perform better on the golf course, I provide one-on-one care designed around your goals, your lifestyle, and the way you want to move.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of patients, from weekend warriors to elite athletes in the NCAA, MLB, Professional Triathlon Organisation, WNBA and NFL. I was on the Performance and Recovery Team at the 2026 Women’s U.S. Open. My extensive experience across multiple states, including Idaho, New Mexico, Florida, Illinois and California has equipped me with the skills to connect with individuals from all walks of life.
I am a lifelong athlete with a passion for movement, performance, and helping others stay active. Golf has long been a significant part of my life, and I especially enjoy working with fellow golfers and connecting over the game. I also volunteer with Angel City Sports as an adaptive golf coach, where I have the opportunity to combine my physical therapy background with my passion for golf. I am currently working with the organization to help bring an adaptive golf clinic to Orange County.
My involvement in adaptive sports began years earlier while living in Chicago, where I volunteered extensively with Dare2Tri, assisting with ambulatory running and multisport clinics. Some of my proudest experiences include serving as a guide for visually impaired athletes during triathlons. During my years in Illinois and Florida, I was also an avid short-course triathlete, qualifying to represent Team USA at the 2019 Age Group World Championships. These experiences have shaped the way I approach physical therapy today—with a deep appreciation for helping people of all abilities continue pursuing the activities and sports that are meaningful to them.
Running has been a constant in my life since I first competed in track in elementary school. I became the first sub-5-minute miler at my high school, and my passion for the sport has continued ever since. Over the years, I’ve competed in more than 60 races, from local 5Ks to half marathons, earning 20 age-group wins along the way. Today, I still enjoy everything from a quick run to exploring new trails—and some of my favorite miles have been stroller runs with my son, although these days I’m more likely to be chasing him on his bike.
Running has given me a lifelong appreciation for staying active, setting goals, and finding ways to keep movement a meaningful part of everyday life. It’s a perspective I bring to my work with patients, whether their goal is returning to a favorite sport, getting back on the golf course, or simply continuing to do the activities they love.
I believe movement is essential to a fulfilling life, and my goal is to help you continue doing the activities that matter most to you. At Jensen Physical Therapy & Golf Performance, I provide convenient, one-on-one care in the comfort of your home, with each session tailored to your individual goals and needs. With dedicated one-on-one sessions, we have the time to focus on what matters most—helping you move better, stay active, and maintain the independence to enjoy the life you want to live. Whether that means returning to the golf course, staying strong and active, or simply moving with greater confidence, I’m here to help you keep doing what you love.
