Frequently Asked Questions
What types of conditions do you treat?
I specialize in treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including general sports injuries, overuse running injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, and mobility issues. My goal is to help you regain strength, improve function, and enhance your quality of life.
What areas do you serve for in-home treatments?
I provide treatments in the following cities: Orange, Villa Park, Anaheim, Fullerton, Placentia, Yorba Linda, Santa Ana, Tustin, Irvine, Costa Mesa, and Newport Beach.
Will you travel to a city not listed?
Possibly, on a case-by-case basis. Please contact me to discuss your specific location and needs.
How does in-home physical therapy work?
In-home physical therapy brings personalized care directly to your doorstep. I will visit your home at a convenient time for you, conduct a thorough assessment, and develop a tailored treatment plan to address your specific needs and goals.
What should I expect during a mobile physical therapy session?
I will arrive with a treatment table, bands, weights, and other necessary equipment to conduct a comprehensive PT session. Please wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement.
What should I expect during my first session?
During your first session, we'll discuss your medical history, current concerns, and goals. I'll perform a comprehensive evaluation to understand your condition better and begin developing a personalized treatment plan.
How often should I schedule in-home physical therapy sessions?
The ideal frequency of sessions varies based on your specific condition and recovery needs. Initially, you might benefit from one to two sessions per week to jump start your recovery process. As I monitor your progress and observe how your body responds to treatment, the number of sessions can be adjusted to ensure optimal healing and support.
How long does each session typically last?
Each session typically lasts about 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the type of session provided.
What are the costs for your services?
The cost is $250 for a 60-minute initial evaluation, $200 for a 60-minute follow-up session, and $150 for a 45-minute wellness session.
Do you offer packages for self-pay physical therapy or wellness visits?
Yes, I offer discounted rates for multi-session packages when you prepay. Please contact me for more details.
Do you accept insurance, or is it all out-of-pocket?
I am in-network with Medicare Part B. For all other insurances, I operate out-of-network.
Why don't you accept insurance?
By remaining out-of-network, I can provide personalized, focused care that addresses the root cause of your issues, rather than being constrained by insurance company guidelines. This ensures your treatment is tailored to your specific needs. Choosing not to participate in insurance networks is a deliberate decision to provide the highest quality of care. By operating out-of-network, I can offer you one-on-one attention for the entire session, ensuring dedicated time with a highly qualified physical therapist. Unlike in-network clinics that often operate on a high-volume model, this approach allows for personalized care without the involvement of assistants or unlicensed staff. Each session is tailored to your unique needs, driven by your goals rather than insurance limitations. This patient-centered approach enables a comprehensive treatment plan that addresses the root causes of your issues, leading to a more complete and lasting recovery.

Are you able to provide a Superbill?
Yes, I am happy to provide a Superbill upon request.
What types of payment do you accept?
I accept credit/debit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and checks.
Do I need a referral to begin treatment?
A referral is only required if you have Medicare Part B as your primary insurance. California is a direct access state for physical therapy, allowing you to see a physical therapist for up to 45 calendar days or 12 visits, whichever comes first, before needing a physician's referral to continue treatment.
What should I wear to my physical therapy sessions?
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows for easy movement. Athletic wear such as shorts, leggings, and t-shirts are ideal.
How do you tailor treatment plans to individual needs?
I take a holistic approach, considering your medical history, lifestyle, and personal goals. Each treatment plan is customized to address your specific needs, ensuring the most effective path to recovery.
